Greening With LEED: Lessons From Leaders

When Adobe achieved the LEED certification , (July and December 2006) it was waves among stalwarts how they can be environment efficient, cost saving and could become another earth saver. The greening journey of Adobe started back in 2001 when it realized how could be the greening of office is effective. It employed the facilities management firm Cushman & Wakefield and implemented various in-house improvement projects. They worked on improving quality of indoor air, proper management of ventilations, drought tolerant landscaping, and irrigation facilities linked to the local weather stations, with a real time adjustment system, monitoring of carbon monoxide and adjustment of exhaust fan accordingly, and maximization in use of outdoor air.

To make any place green is not so hard or time consuming but it takes the attitude to that thing. In addition, greening is a way to live a life, to cherish a life, to appreciate the environment friendliness. So gotta bored of regular campus hither thither, friends seems to be lethargic, same old chores of credit scores, lectures, old sports, competitions , ohh…! All that coming and going with no cause. Came to university for being a gentleperson, good scores, campus selection, sweet married life, fat pay packet, and retirement a simple unmarked life.

LEED: BETTER HOMES BETTER WORLD

LEED abbreviated for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design is one of the most appropriate certification in Environment Friendly building design and construction in present discussion. LEED is a certification system designed for every kind of constructions assuring that they meet the environment supporting methods and technologies( more specifications still going on ). LEED development became necessary, as the health hazards of buildings were growing and the material used in the construction were more responsible. The paints containing lead pigments, the plasters containing the cynoacrylates and other solvent chemical like xylene, toluene, etc, were making the indoor pollutant level high enough by 100 times then recommended. The technologies used by these homes were raising the level of green house gases and heat (air conditioner, refrigerators, and gas heating equipments).
